‘Rose Quartz’ was voted pantone of the year in 2016 & pink is still very much on trend but has been given more of a sophisticated twist with Dulux introducing “Heart Wood” as colour of 2018.

Pink has a great ability to look feminine and chic while also looking modern, scandi and fun all rolled into one. Here are some stylish ways to use this classy colour…

We can’t get enough of monochrome themed rooms but actually, they are completely reinvented and brought to life with a simple pop of colour. Why not try adding a pink sofa or armchair for charm and a splash of fun? Simple and gorgeous.

Bring a feminine touch to dark, moody rooms with an accent of pink. The good thing about the nature of grey or other dark colours means any shade of pink will work beautifully. Tres chic.

The use of pink can really bring a kitchen to life. Kitchen’s can seem quite industrial and cold at times but pink is a great colour to add instant warmth. Especially when paired with copper and gold accents. Dusky pink & marble is another beautiful combination.

Even pink accent bathrooms work you can go all out with floor to ceiling tiles in your shower or use the colour a little more sparingly with a roll top bath or just some fluffy pink towels.

Dusky pink looks stunning teamed with deep contrasting colours such as emerald, indigo, plumb & teal.
